SACHET is an app based on the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP), which was implemented in India to gather and share information about disaster and emergency alerts in an effective, efficient, and timely manner. The app is deployed by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with the State Disaster Management Authorities to serve as a platform for receiving alerts and information from various government departments and agencies.
It can be used by the public to receive warnings and alerts in their region, as well as for personal use. The app supports all mobile devices, and it is available in all languages. The users can also subscribe to various locations to receive alerts in their specific regions.
